hey this is Mike.

The tour we took of the Help From Above School was one of the highlights of my time in Haiti. To see the joy of the children as they participated in the field day -science competition was wonderful. But what made it touch my heart was the fact that these children were being taught the word of God. They say change starts with the next generation. Seeing the school reaching the minds of the children with the message of Gods salvation is the start of this change. Also the dedication we saw in the teachers, administrators, kitchen staff, and others was touching; and the love they expressed was sincere and heartfelt.
The Help From Above school is a true beacon of hope in a dark country. I will not forget this school and all of the other wonderful experiences of this trip.

  1. Hey Mike,

It sounds like you're enjoying the trip! It is nice to see how God is blessing you through this trip! Have you come across and new and challenging "puzzles" to bring home with you? *smiling*

Is Help From Above the name of the missions school that others have been mentioning? That's a pretty appropriate name!

It's great to know that the children are being taught the Word of God as part of the foundation of their education! After all, we all know that it's "the fear of the Lord that is the beginning of knowledge."

Well, I'm looking forward to hearing and seeing more of what the Lord has done in all of your lives!

Take care, be blessed, be a blessing!!

    Love and prayers,
    Mrs. Hole, Brenda, Mrs. Brenda

  2. I guess I should have said "the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding" (Prov. 9:10) if I was quoting. Anyway, I'm sure you understood.
